Filter Adapter Ring - Lens Surround

This light-weight metal adapter allows the user to thread on various 52mm filters around the black lens surround. It has a strong holding grip and should never come off accidentally. This is great for users using the GoPro® camera in a gimbal or mounted using a naked frame. When used in a gimbal be sure to add some counter-weight to the rear of the camera to balance the gimbal. No filter is included.

When using this adapter on the HERO® 3 cameras, you will need to add a small layer of thin tape to the black lens surround or inner diameter of this adapter as it may fall off if not. On the HERO® 3+ and HERO® 4 cameras the black lens surround is slightly tapered so it holds on securely without tape.

NOTE: Please test each mode on the camera before using the filters. When using these filters with the super wide stock original lens, there may be some black vignetting unless used in the N (Narrow) mode. When using our aftermarket lenses, there should be no vignetting with lenses 2.97mm and higher mm.
