Overview

This information section is a collection of info gathered by myself, Nolan Ramseyer and by the members at the NUI Group Forums. It concentrates mainly on multitouch setups involving the use of optical techniques to interact with multitouch software.

How do you start now?
The best place to start is with Seth Sandler's MTmini which uses simple hardware to build a multi-touch "mouse-pad".
After that you should read as much info as you can on my website here, the NUI Group Forums, and the NUI Group WIKI

What is Multitouch, what can I do with it and what can it do for me?
Multitouch is an interaction with machines by using multiple inputs. It usually creates a more natural interaction with the machine, allowing more control than a simple point and click.
There are many things that can be done in a multitouch environment. One of the main abilities is the collaboration of multiple people at the same time on the info presented to be manipulated.
